    Frequently asked quesitons (FAQ)

My virtual module such as switch or motion sensor is not working.

Make sure all your smart frames are updated to the latest firmware. Go to your devices, select each frame, go to more info and check if you can see "Update" button. If so, press it, wait for the update to complete and try again. Also, make sure all devices you are trying to connect are paired using the same account, as it is not possible to link between different accounts for security reasons.

Electricity price chart is not working properly.

Enter your electricity price and currency in the settings.

I'm not getting notifications even thought they are enabled for my smart module.

Make sure your device and/or browser supports and allows notifications. Go to settings -> notifications inside the Connekt app and click "Enable notifications". If notifications are not supported, reason will be displayed at this step.

My devices often display as "Offline". Why is that?

Make sure you have a stable internet connection and that all your devices are in range of your WiFi access point. Try adjusting your access point/router position and orientation. If problem persists consider adding a repeater to your network or using a stronger access point.

What exactly is Linking Pairing Mode (LPM) and how do I use it?

Linking pairing mode can be enabled in Settings->Other->Linking Pairing Mode. When this mode is active, your entire Connekt system will enter LPM. All smart frames with diffusers will display purple light on the sides of the frame and LEDs above and below modules will be off. In this mode you can quickly and easily see and change your linked modules. You can easily Quick Link your modules using the touch buttons on your Smart Cover. First you have to press a touch button above the module you want to use as action source. The LED turns purple and the system check module compatibility. If this module can't be used as an action source, red light will blink and this module will exit pairing mode. If the module can be used as action source the LED turns white. LEDs above and below all modules currently linked to this module on all Smart Frames with Diffusers will light up green. Next you need to press the button above the module you want to Quick Link as an action target. If the selected module can't be linked with the selected source using Quick Link, LEDs above/below will blink red. If the module can be linked, the light will blink green. The LEDs above/below source module will also blink green and modules will be linked using quick link. If you press the touch button above an already linked module, LEDs will blink blue and the two modules will be unlinked. WARNING: All links between those modules will be deleted.
